Import/Export Operation

About the role

We are a China-based logistics company expanding our business in Singapore and building a local operations team. We are looking for a motivated and experienced professional to support our LCL export operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage LCL Export Operations
• Handle daily LCL export activities, including cargo consolidation, coordination with CFS warehouses, carrier/co-loader bookings, and export transportation arrangements.
• Ensure shipments are processed and loaded on time.
• Ensure Regulatory Compliance
• Prepare and submit export declarations through TradeNet.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore Customs regulations and accurate HS code classification.
• Follow all export documentation and cargo handling requirements.
• Coordinate with Customers and Partners
• Act as the main contact point for customers, overseas agents, carriers, and co-loaders.
• Resolve shipment issues such as cargo delays, booking changes, documentation discrepancies, and space constraints.
• Support System and Process Improvements
• Use and help improve the company's logistics platform for shipment tracking, reporting, and invoicing.
• Assist in implementing efficient operational processes.
• Work with Regional Teams
• Collaborate closely with teams in China, Vietnam, and other Southeast Asian countries to ensure smooth shipment handling and accurate documentation.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in international freight forwarding , preferably in LCL export operations .
• Good understanding of LCL consolidation processes and export shipment coordination.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Chinese and English to communicate effectively with Chinese-speaking clients and overseas counterparts.
• Preferred
• Experience handling Singapore export customs procedures and TradeNet declarations.
• Familiarity with freight forwarding systems and logistics software.
