Wastewater Maintenance Specialist II

Requirements

• Three years of experience working in industrial mechanical maintenance and repair, pumping systems, electrical systems, or power generation engine maintenance.
• (Work experience limited to automotive, truck, or heavy equipment maintenance is not qualifying experience.)
• (Relevant experience and/or education from an accredited college or university may be substituted.)
• OR:
• Two years with Pima County in a Wastewater Maintenance Specialist I or closely related classification as determined by the department head at the time of recruitment.

• Minimum t hree (3) years experience with mechanical equipment, performing repairs and routine maintenance of pumping systems, pumps, gear boxes, plumbing, pipe fitting, and compressor/blower maintenance.
• Minimum three (3) years experience with maintenance, repair, preventative maintenance, diagnosing, or troubleshooting in Wastewater, construction, or fabrication.
• Minimum one (1) year experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Minimum one (1) year expereince using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
