The Copthorne Hotel Manchester is seeking a Casual Maintenance Assistant to join a busy team. What do we expect from a Maintenance Assistant? Assist with the delivery, assembly, and installation of new bedroom furniture Support furniture replacement and refurbishment projects across the hotel Move, position, and install furniture safely and efficiently within guest bedrooms and other hotel areas Carry out minor repairs and adjustments to furniture as required Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment Work closely with the Housekeeping and Maintenance teams to minimise disruption to hotel operations Report any issues, defects, or project delays to the Maintenance Manager Comply with all Health & Safety policies and procedures Provide general maintenance support related to furniture installation projects as required What we are looking for? Positive, 'can do attitude' Experience of general property maintenance, including electrical. Hotel maintenance experience is advantageous Flexibility to work on a rota basis, including weekends Knowledge of Health & Safety at Work regulations The ability to work as part of a team or independently, as required The ability to respond to queries quickly and problem solve effectively About the Hotel: The Copthorne Hotel Manchester sits peacefully on the attractive Salford Quays waterfront and is within easy reach of MediaCityUK.
