VG Assembler (1st Shift)

About the role

This is a 1st Shift position. The associate has to assemble all configurations of VG pumps within the assigned product line(s) utilizing both purchased and manufactured components per customer specifications. Assemble assigned product per specification utilizing designated tools, gauges, assembly line, etc. to ensure quality of product. Assembler is required to hand fit parts as well as perform quality checks Cross train on various product lines as needed including Point of Use Provider Must use inspection equipment and gauges where required Complete and maintain records/paperwork as required. May be required to tear down and reassemble completed units Daily communication with team and shift handover required. Associate must be able to collect and interpret data to support production and problem solving EXCELLENT ATTENDANCE REQUIRED Basic knowledge in SAP High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience utilizing hand tools of various types required Must exercise care in handling product to prevent damage Must follow standards as instructed and report any deviations Must be able to read and comprehend blue prints or other instructional material Must utilize setup, process and quality assurance documentation in order to assure the quality of the product. Repeatedly lift up to 30bs and use all lifting devices as available Stand constantly, walk frequently, bend and stoop occasionally No written warnings within the past 12 months All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
