Job Description Summary Provides moderately complex technical support for hardware, software, and conference rooms to the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry. Collaborates with campus IT teams to deliver reliable technology solutions that support the university's teaching, research, and administrative missions. Primary Duties 1. Provides technical support and IT services to faculty, staff, and students, including diagnostic resolution and follow-through. 2. Installs, configures, repairs, and maintains desktop and laptop computers, mobile devices, printers, and other peripheral equipment. 3. Troubleshoots software, network, and account issues while ensuring compliance with university IT policies and security standards. 4. Provides support and ensures conference rooms and instructional (teaching) lab audio and visual equipment are functioning normally 5. Manages asset lifecycles, including inventory updates, equipment deployment via Jamf and Intune, warranty claims, and asset disposal. 6. Maintains and distributes reference manuals and technical training guides. 7. Conducts moderately complex information technology briefings in a group setting.
