About the role

As a Finance Industrial Trainee, you will embed yourself in the business finance team supporting one of the world's most recognised sports lifestyle brands. You will get real exposure to the numbers that drive product, retail, and brand decisions across India and beyond. Roles & Responsibilities: Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the India business. Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis - tracking performance across product categories and online channels. Assist in preparation of management reports and presentations for senior leadership. Ensure adherence to internal controls, compliance frameworks, and Puma's global finance standards. Help manage accounts payable & receivable, reconciliations, and transaction processing. Participate in inventory accounting, cost analysis, and standard costing review relevant to apparel and footwear. Prepare schedules and documentation for statutory and internal audits. Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, and Brand teams for data collation and process improvements. Contribute to special finance projects as assigned by leadership. Requirements

  • Pursuing CA (ICAI) with eligibility to undergo industrial training as per institute guidelines.
  • Strong academic record and solid conceptual understanding of accounting & finance principles.
  • Proficient in MS Excel; working knowledge of SAP ERP is a definite advantage.
  • Sharp analytical mind with clear, confident communication skills.
  • Self-driven and comfortable keeping pace in a fast-moving brand environment.
  • Comfortable working both independently and in cross-functional teams.
  • Education:
  • UG-B.Com in Any Specialisation, Diploma in Any Specialisation
  • PG-CA (Pursuing)- First Attempt or Second Attempt
