Job Description Role Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced ServiceNow Engineer to join our dynamic ServiceNow team in Corporate Systems. The ideal candidate should possess a strong technical background in ServiceNow development, configuration and operations. The role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze configuration, deploy packaged solutions, and coordinate multiple deployments to our ServiceNow instances, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and business processes. This position is based in our Hyderabad location, and we follow a hybrid work policy. What will you do in this role Design, code, verify, test, document, amend and refactor moderately complex applications and software configurations for deployment in collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams across various regions worldwide. Support in developing or updating configurations in ServiceNow to improve Instance Health Score across User Experience, Upgradability, Security, Manageability and Performance. Support the ServiceNow platform team and business stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical specifications and functional requirements for ServiceNow solutions Collaborate with other teams to integrate ServiceNow with other IT systems and third-party applications. Manage data migration tasks when required. Support development of custom reports, performance analytics, and executive dashboards in ServiceNow to provide real-time insights into service performance and key metrics. Stay up-to-date with the latest ServiceNow features, tools, and best practices. Apply DevOps concepts of continuous integration and continuous delivery to ServiceNow based solutions for their end-to-end deployment. Maintain comprehensive SDLC and technical documentation for all ServiceNow configurations, customizations, and developments. Publish standards in support of Federated Development and contribute towards community of practice What should you have Bachelors' degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or any Technology stream. 5+ years of working experience as a ServiceNow Developer and/or Engineer preferably with core Platform areas. ServiceNow Certified System Admin (CSA) certification ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification is highly desirable ServiceNow Certified implementation Specialist (CIS) certification is highly desirable. Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and XML with hands-on experience in ServiceNow scripting and development. In-depth knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices for IT Service Management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to design effective ServiceNow solutions. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, effectively communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Understanding of Agile development methodologies is a plus.
