Duties which include repairing industrial or chemical equipment; utilizing metal working tools for modification of defective parts; and providing guidance on work tasks to ensure compliance procedures. - Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible rating. Ability to Interpret Instructions, Specifications, etc. (Includes Blueprint Reading) Ability to Lead or Supervise Ability to Use and Maintain Tools and Equipment Knowledge of Equipment Assembly, Installation, and Repair, etc. Technical Practices (Theoretical, Precise, Artistic) Trouble shooting Use of Measuring Instruments Physical Effort: Incumbent lifts cartons of material, i.e., gloves, respirators, protective masks and hoods, protective suits and cleaning material, etc. weighing approximately 20 pounds. Occasionally items weighing up to 50 pounds may be Required to push, pull, reach, walk, crawl, kneel, bend, sit and long periods of standing. Work Conditions: Work is performed inside the maintenance shop the majority of the time, with occasional outside duties in connection with performance tests of equipment.
