ABOUT US For our client we are currently filling the following position: TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER (M/W/D) YOUR TASKS Independently managing the conversion of an existing site into an Inbound Distribution Center (1DC) Overseeing and coordinating all on-site work, as well as liaising with construction companies, racking manufacturers, and conveyor system suppliers Ensuring compliance with German occupational safety regulations and assisting with the management of safety and compliance documentation Overseeing the installation and commissioning of material flow systems (conveyor, sorting, and vision systems), including PLC-based automation Planning, executing, and coordinating testing and acceptance phases to ensure the safety, functionality, and performance of the systems Analyzing and resolving technical malfunctions, as well as tracking outstanding defects during project implementation Monitoring deadlines, risks, and critical project paths to ensure a timely go-live Regular reporting to European program management, as well as support during the operational ramp-up phase following commissioning YOUR QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor or master degree in engineering, automation technology, mechanical engineering, or a comparable technical qualification Several years of experience managing technical installation or retrofit projects in an industrial setting In-depth knowledge of German occupational safety requirements and CE conformity for machinery and equipment Experience with material handling equipment (MHE), conveyor systems, or complex process plants Strong skills in commissioning, fault analysis, and optimization of mechanical and automated systems Understanding of PLC-based control systems and their integration into operational processes Excellent communication and coordination skills when interacting with internal and external stakeholders Experience with Amazon projects or comparable logistics and e-commerce environments is a plus BENEFITS Work-time account with full overtime compensation Attractive employee discounts from numerous top providers Hybrid work model A dedicated contact person throughout the entire application and assignment process INTERESTED?
