Assistant QC Chemist

Responsibilities

• Responsible for planning and conducting hands-on analyses to support the set-up of instruments in the QC laboratory.
• Conduct analytical method validation, review data and troubleshoot reliability issues of instruments.
• Review and upkeep Quality, Safety and training documents of instruments in compliance with ISO and IATF standards.
• Comply with laboratory safety guidelines and maintain good laboratory housekeeping.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to timely and accurate completion of tasks.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by QC Manager/QC Supervisor.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Chemistry or equivalent.
• More than 2 years of working experience in laboratory related functions.
• Knowledge and understanding of laboratory operation, equipment (GC, HPLC, GPC, FTIR, Titrators), software (OpenLab), Microsoft tools and systems (LIMS).
• Good analytical knowledge and ability to work independently.
