Project System Engineer (Ref 25026)

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Project Manager and Engineers to support the fulfilment of contract obligations within agreed timelines, cost, and scope
• Manage and oversee project documentation and subcontractor-related matters
• Perform system setup and database configuration, and resolve technical and design issues
• Provide support for IT infrastructure, primarily based on Microsoft operating systems
• Involved in the setup of cybersecurity systems and network switches, including performing network checks and IP address configuration for all project network devices
• Carry out installation, debugging, and troubleshooting of IT-related issues
• Prepare presentations and conduct training sessions for stakeholders

Requirements

• Degree/ Diploma in Project Management/ Computer Science / Computer Engineering in Information Technology, Information Systems, IT Security or equivalent.
• Experience in Project Management, IT Management Systems Deployment or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in database management, cybersecurity, and Windows OS virtualisation/hypervisors
• Able to perform work independently and also a team player.
• Knowledge in any of the following will be a strong plus:
• i) SQL management studio application and database table,
• ii) Vulnerabilities Assessment,
• iii) Software development
• iv) Setup and install access control system e.g., key management systems, CCTV, card readers, gantries
• v) Redundancy technologies e.g., failover clustering, NIC teaming
• vi) Network Switch Configuration
• Good interpersonal skills with strong organisational and coordination abilities.
