As a Logistics Specialist Your key responsibilities will include: 1. Shipment Coordination Manage end-to-end shipments from vendors to warehouse Coordinate with vendors and freight forwarders for pickup, documentation, and delivery (air/sea) Ensure accuracy and compliance of shipping documents Track shipments and resolve delays proactively 2. Vendor & Stakeholder Management Act as main contact between vendors, freight forwarders, and internal teams Coordinate with Sales, Purchasing, Operations, and Finance Ensure vendors and service providers meet agreed SLAs 3. Freight & Cost Management Negotiate freight rates and evaluate shipping options Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining service quality Support logistics supplier benchmarking and tenders 4. Tracking & Documentation Maintain accurate shipment records and status updates Ensure full visibility of shipments for stakeholders 5. Costing & Analysis Capture and analyze full shipment costs (freight, duties, etc.) Prepare cost reports and recommend improvements 6. Warehouse & Customs Support Support GRNs, inventory control, and inbound coordination Assist in customs clearance and Nafeza submissions Ensure compliance with import regulations 7. Reporting & Improvement Prepare shipment and KPI reports (delivery, cost, timelines) Identify process improvements and support SOPs What You Bring to the Role Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field. 2-3 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain operations. Good understanding of international shipping, Incoterms, and customs processes. Experience with Nafeza and CargoX is a strong advantage. Strong negotiation and communication skills.
