About the role

The President ("President") of Cook Children's Health Plan ("CCHP"), a key member of the Cook Children's executive team with shared accountability for the success of the organization, is charged with guiding the strategy, profitability and sustainability of the Cook Children's Health Plan ("Health Plan"). Cook Children's Health Plan Cook Children's Health Plan provides vital coverage to nearly 120,000 people in low-income families who qualify for government-sponsored programs in our six county service region. Cook Children's Health Plan provides health coverage for CHIP, CHIP Perinatal, STAR (Medicaid) and STAR Kids Members in the Tarrant county service area. The counties we serve includes Tarrant, Johnson, Denton, Parker, Hood and Wise. Cook Children's is an equal opportunity employer. Requirements

  • 5+ years of executive level management experience in a health plan with a total of 15+ years of executive level management experience in a healthcare organization.
  • Extensive understanding of applicable federal, state, industry, and payer rules, regulations, policies, laws, and guidelines that impact Health Plans
  • Education
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Finance or Healthcare Administration
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field.
