Component Program Manager (CPM)

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead programs, working cross-functionally to drive engineering development and implementation for product/service subsystems or components
• Coordinate project teams and internal/external development partners; track progress, make scheduling decisions, and allocate resources
• Develop schedules, manage critical deliverables, handle budgeting, and build resource allocation plans
• Manage program progress, escalations, and issue analysis for stakeholders; collaborate with manufacturing/development partners on product/process changes
• Work with the system team and ODM (Original Design Manufacturer) on commodity qualification plans and IUR configuration, ensuring on-time completion
• Track commodity qualification status and work with engineering on debugging/solutions
• Participate in core team meetings, escalate critical issues across the system team
• Create mitigation plans for shortage risk
• Resolve urgent qualification requests with system team, ODM, and cross-functional teams
• Mentor and guide less-experienced staff
• Education & Experience
• Bachelor's or Master's in Business Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
• PMP/PMI certification preferred
• Typically 4-6 years' experience (Panel, Camera, or Battery industry experience is a plus)
• Excellent communication skills; mastery in English and Chinese

• Proficiency with project planning tools/software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience coordinating matrixed teams
• Ability to manage schedules, budgets, resource plans
• Strong written/verbal communication; ability to negotiate at management levels
