YOU WILL BE: The Sales Support Assistant, is responsible for creating/maintaining merchandise organization and administrative day-to-day tasks to support operational excellence and an elevated store environment with the goal of improving the associate and client experience.
Responsibilities
- Processes, tracks, and follows up on special orders and repair requests; communicate status to client advisors.
- Assists with special events / Made to Measure / truck shows; processes and reconciles necessary invoices and client orders.
- Responsible for checking in / receiving new merchandise (includes ticketing, backstock organization) per division requirements.
- Per guidance and direction of Group/Sales Manager or Assistant Sales Manager, place product and merchandise in the specified area of the dept
- Based on changes in business priorities, complete necessary merchandise placements to ensure merchandise standards are followed
- Processes damages, reticketing, mark out of stocks and RTVs.
- Complete markdowns; signs and moves product once marked.
- Demonstrates operational skills by keeping track of daily reports and SPIFF entries, and checking receipts; ensures department and stockroom controls are being executed
Requirements
- Prior retail experience preferred
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to shift focus quickly depending on business objectives
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and ability to have flexibility with competing task
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency with MS Office Product Suite preferred
- Certain roles may require standing, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting and carrying up to 10 pounds
- Associates must be willing to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, which will include evenings, weekends, and holidays
