Responsibilities

  • As Product Merchandising Lead, you act as the main link between product merchandising, commercial teams, and allocation functions - ensuring accurate stock planning, demand transparency, and efficient replenishment across markets in East Asia.
  • Act as the key contact point and partner with Sales Market Commercial teams on stock and inventory topics, driving transparency and sharing best practices across markets
  • Challenge Sales Markets' bottom-up demand plans from a stock-level perspective and support in setting and adjusting price maps to reflect local competition and stock positions
  • Responsible for forecasting supply in relation to demand, deciding and providing articles for final sale, clearance, and special campaigns, and providing markdowns in collaboration with Inventory Optimization Leads
  • Oversee initial allocation from warehouses to stores in line with Sales Market plans, and manage replenishment speed, blocks, and stops for seasonal and predictable demand
  • Follow up stock on Sales Market level, review stock-balancing scenarios, and create transparency on incoming deliveries and stock status through regular stock update reports
  • Capture learnings from exit and liquidation cycles to inform future pre-season planning and buying quantifications
  • WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
  • You'll work closely with Supply Planning team, collaborating with Sales Market Commercial teams, Inventory Optimization Leads, warehouse partners and other relevant stakeholders across East Asia.
  • This role will be reporting to the Planning Market Manager, Supply Planning.

Requirements

  • We are looking for people who...
  • Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related quantitative field
  • Bring 2-4 years of experience in product merchandising, retail planning, or commercial operations within retail, fashion, or FMCG
  • Have solid commercial expertise with a strong understanding of retail and product merchandising processes
  • Are proficient in Excel and have an interest in BI tools such as Power BI, with strong attention to detail in article tracking and reporting
