Responsibilities
- We are looking for a business-minded Category Manager to act as a leader with 360° view of your assigned category and countries. You will drive strategy, manage a diverse portfolio, and collaborate across teams to ensure growth and profitability in your region.
- Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute end-to-end category strategies, set pricing, and drive commercial objectives as the primary business owner for your markets.
- Portfolio Management: Oversee the lifecycle of ~1,000 core SKUs and ~2,500 long-tail items, making key decisions on launches, maintenance, and phase-outs based on performance.
- Forecasting & Planning: Own the forecasting cycle, ensuring accuracy by incorporating market trends, seasonality, and local variables.
- Product & Content: Translate market insights into product briefs for development and lead content localization to ensure it resonates with local customers.
- Operations & Marketing: Partner with Operations to optimize costs and inventory, and work with Marketing to boost category visibility across digital channels (Google, Meta, etc.).
Requirements
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data, trends, and financial metrics.
- Experience in product lifecycle management and forecasting.
- Ability to work cross-functionally (Logistics, Marketing, Product Development).
- Strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- 2-3 years of experience in e-commerce or similar positions
