Requirements

  • Create detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Develop work instructions, setup sheets, and process documentation
  • Define cycle times and takt time
  • Standardize operations for consistent quality
  • Tooling & Equipment Planning
  • Identify and specify tools, jigs, fixtures, and gauges
  • Ensure availability and readiness of machines and equipment
  • Support tool design and development teams
  • Optimize tooling for productivity and repeatability
  • Quality Assurance Integration
  • Define inspection stages and quality checkpoints
  • Support control plan and PFMEA development
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards (ISO, IATF, etc.)
  • Work with QA to resolve defects and root causes
  • Manufacturing Process Development
  • Design and develop efficient manufacturing processes
  • Define production methods, workflows, and layouts
  • Ensure processes meet quality, cost, and delivery targets
