Develop reliable metrics for hardware, software and storage while ensuring strategic capacity planning. Direct and support the maintenance and operation of client, server and network infrastructures. Collaborates with departmental representatives to plan/coordinate joint patient and management objectives. Plans, directs, and administers the activities of system administrators, and other technical staff and services of the Information Systems. Prepares and manages department budget to ensure expenses are within organizational goals. Coordinates departmental projects and instructs staff in the development and implementation of new capabilities. Ensures departmental compliance with organizational, departmental specific policies/procedures, safety and health standards, and state/federal regulations and accrediting agencies. Act in accordance with the established mission, vision, and values. Abide by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability privacy and security regulations regarding all aspects of Protected Health Information (PHI). Maintain effective communication and professional working relationships with patients/clients and their representatives, team members, contractors, physicians, peers, outside agencies, and the public.
