Department Overview The Media & Trend Department oversees Rakuten's media business, serving as a key user touchpoint within the Rakuten Group. Guided by the mission "Supporting everyday life," we operate multiple media services-including point-based media, news, and lifestyle content-used by more than 10 million users on a monthly basis.Our portfolio of media services includes Rakuten Super Point Screen, Rakuten Web Search, Rakuten Personal Finance, Infoseek, Rakuten Real Estate, Rakuten Blog, Rakuten Recipe, and Rakuten Calendar. Position Details Position Overview This role is responsible for overseeing a wide range of operational functions that enable the stable, safe, and scalable delivery of advertising and promotional initiatives within the Media Business. Responsibilities include advertising delivery operations across media platforms, operational support for distributing promotional products from Rakuten Ichiba merchants to Rakuten users, as well as operational design and support functions that enable media sales and marketing activities. Depending on the assigned team, experience, and interests, this role offers a flexible scope ranging from day-to-day operational execution to operational design, improvement initiatives, and leadership of teams or projects that support the overall growth of the Media Business.
