Specialist, Administration & Systems

Responsibilities

• This position is responsible, under the instruction of the team leader, for including but not limited to the following:
• Process re-engineering and end user computing
• Business engineering and data mapping
• Set up risk/premium calculations
• Set up data mapping
• Other system supports
• Process re-engineering and end user computing
• Business analysis and master data administration
• Set up risk/premium calculations
• Create risk and premium calculation sheet in Excel, or functions by PL/SQL. Often work with IT team in the head-office. Entry-level mathematical knowledges, such as sigma(Σ) notation, understanding graph are required.
• Set up data mapping
• Analyzing data files from clients and map each column to our main system's items using PL/SQL.
• Other system supports
• Data extraction from main system
• Creating reports
• Solution assist/provide
• UAT support of main system
• RPA (Power Automate Desktop)
• Required qualifications
• At least 3 years of experience of business application engineer as designer, developer or tester in a financial institution (insurance company)
• At least 3 years of experience of end user computing support (direct support/communication to the end users is required)
• Strong skills for standard SQL
• Experience for BI tools such as Alteryx, Python/Pandas, PowerBI, Tableau etc
• Skills and knowledge for Microsoft Excel
• Good communication skill in Japanese (Native level)
• Comprehensive English communication skill (Intermediate) would be an added advantage
• Experience for version management tools such as GitHub, GitLab, ADO etc
