Ultrasound Technologist (Inpatient) Requirements: Completion of accredited program in ultrasound ARDMS (AB or OB/GYN or VT) or ARRT (S) required at time of hire. If not ARDMS (OB/GYN) registered at time of hire, registry required within twelve months of hire with the first attempt to pass the OB/GYN registry within six months of hire. American Heart Association CPR required Ultrasound Technologist (Outpatient) Requirements: Completion of accredited program in ultrasound ARDMS (AB or OB/GYN or RVT) or ARRT (S) required: If not ARDMS (OB/GYN) registered at time of hire, registry required within six months of hire. If not ARDMS (RVT) registered at time of hire, registry required within 12 months of hire. American Heart Association CPR required Ultrasound Technologist (Outpatient) Women's Requirements: Completion of accredited program in ultrasound ARDMS (AB or OB/GYN or RVT) or ARRT (S) required: If not ARDMS (OB/GYN) registered at time of hire, registry required within six months of hire. If not ARDMS (BR) registered at time of hire, registry required within 12 months of hire. If not ARDMS (RVT) registered at time of hire, registry required within 24 months of hire. Ability to tolerate irregular hours including evenings, nights, and weekends. Environmental Requirements and Exposure Hazards: Risk of exposure to radiation and toxic chemicals. Potential for exposure to bloodborne pathogens; must be able to wear appropriate personal protective equipment. For MRI Associates: Must complete MRI Associate screening and be approved to work in the MRI environment (Zones 3 & 4) at all times.
