We have an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Project Manager. This role will be based in 6750 Building, Makati City, Philippines. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following : We are looking for a Project Manager for Payroll to lead and deliver complex payroll initiatives across countries, systems, and vendors. This role is critical in ensuring payroll projects are executed on time, within scope, and with strong compliance, controls, and stakeholder alignment. The ideal candidate brings hands-on payroll domain knowledge, structured project management capability, and the confidence to lead cross functional teams through change, transitions, and continuous improvement. Payroll & Functional Leadership Lead end-to-end payroll projects across multiple locations, including implementations, optimizations, and transitions. Partner with Payroll Operations, HR, Finance, Tax, Legal, and IT to ensure seamless upstream and downstream integration. Identify risks, dependencies, and compliance requirements; drive timely resolution and mitigation. Project Management (Skilled Level) Lead complex, cross-functional payroll projects from initiation through stabilization. Own project plans, schedules, budgets, RAID logs, and status reporting. Manage interdependencies across systems (HRIS, Time & Attendance, Payroll, GL) and vendors. Drive delivery of agreed outcomes, capture lessons learned, and embed improvements. Change & Stakeholder Management Design and execute change activities including communications, training coordination, and readiness tracking. Build strong, trust-based relationships with stakeholders; manage expectations and resolve conflicts. Prepare clear materials and updates for senior stakeholders and steering committees. Vendor & Transition Management Lead vendor-related initiatives such as payroll provider transitions, RFP support, and SLA definition. Manage vendors and consultants for outcomes, ensuring adherence to SLAs and delivery milestones. Oversee data migration, parallel runs, and cutover activities to ensure payroll continuity. Compliance, Controls & Governance Ensure payroll projects align with regulatory requirements, internal controls, and audit standards. Lead audit readiness activities related to project scope and track issues to closure. Maintain strong documentation, SOP updates, and audit trails. Continuous Improvement & Digital Enablement Identify opportunities for process improvement, standardization, and automation. Use data (defects, cycle time, SLAs) to drive prioritization and decision-making. Support adoption of digital tools, integrations, and reporting solutions in payroll delivery. Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: Required Skills & Experience Payroll & Finance Strong understanding of end-to-end payroll operations across multiple countries or entities. Working knowledge of payroll accounting, reconciliations, and month-end processes. Experience supporting compliance, audits, and statutory requirements. Project & Change Management Proven experience leading complex payroll or HR transformation projects . Strong grasp of project lifecycle management, dependency management, and risk mitigation. Hands-on experience delivering change management activities and driving adoption. Vendor & Cross-Functional Collaboration
