About the role
The Management Analyst in the Support Services Division (SSD) provides program, administrative, technical, analytical, and management support to the Chief, Assistant Chief, and other staff. TIME-IN-GRADE REQUIREMENT: Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements. For a GS-11 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-09 level. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT: You may qualify based on your experience and/or education as described below: GS-11 Grade Level: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience at the GS-09 grade level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Specialized Experience is defined as work that involves: Applying, analyzing, and interpreting laws, rules, regulations, standards, and policies. Conducting thorough analysis of numerous functions and work processes. Compiles resource data from multiple financial management reports and independently completes duties concerning budget execution. Tracking the allocation of funds and redistributing organizational funding as needed. Education Substitution: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL. M., if related Combining Education & Experience: If you do not fully meet the length of experience and education described for a specific grade level (e.g. have six months of experience and some coursework but not a degree), the two can be combined to total 100% of the requirement.
