The role will be an individual contributor. SS&C is actively investing in AI-driven and agentic solutions designed to simplify complex financial operations at scale within a global organization delivering mission-critical systems across the financial services industry. In this role, you will work with high-performing engineering teams building enterprise-grade systems while helping introduce AI-assisted development, automation, and modern engineering practices. You will operate in a collaborative, low-ego environment where engineers share knowledge and continuously raise the bar. Required Skills Leadership Skills Lead development efforts through hands-on coding, design, and technical decision-making Break down complex work into clear technical designs and implementable components Act as a key technical point of contact for design discussions and delivery alignment Resolve technical challenges and align stakeholders through architecture and solution clarity Coach and mentor developers via code reviews, design reviews, and day-to-day collaboration Ensure adherence to development standards and best practices through active participation and technical oversight Technical Skills 12-17 yrs of Strong Java experience (Spring, Kafka, containers) SQL expertise Frontend exposure (Angular, React, or Vue) Version control (Git, SVN) Understanding of AI concepts and automation Knowledge of SDLC methodologies Commitment to engineering standards Demonstrated Capabilities Strong communication skills Ownership mindset Effective problem solving Team collaboration Continuous learning mindset Focus on high-quality delivery Unless explicitly requested or approached by SS&C Technologies, Inc. or any of its affiliated companies, the company will not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
