About the role

Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and construction plans to determine the scope of work and required materials. Measure, cut, and shape wood or other materials accurately, using hand and power tools, to build or repair structures such as walls, floors, doors, windows, and cabinetry. Install structures, including framing, walls, partitions, and roofing systems, ensuring proper alignment, fit, and adherence to building codes and safety regulations. Construct and install interior and exterior finishes, including trims, moldings, casings, doors, and windows for a polished and professional appearance. Interpreting blueprints and drawing up plans to determine materials required and a plan of action. Measuring, cutting, shaping, and smoothing lumber and other construction materials. Constructing building frameworks including walls, floors, and doorframes. Ensuring structures are level, square, and securely assembled. Installing features such as doors, cabinets, stairs, and paneling. Inspecting and replacing damaged frameworks or other structures and fixtures. Managing construction materials, tools, and equipment. Maintaining a safe and clean work environment by adhering to safety and health regulations
