About the role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support department-level budget planning, tracking, and reporting. You will partner closely with business and functional leaders to ensure financial visibility, drive accountability, and support data-driven decision-making across the organization. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Own and maintain department budgets, including headcount, OpEx, and CapEx tracking across all functional areas Build and manage monthly/quarterly budget vs. actuals reporting, with clear variance analysis and commentary Monitor cloud service subscriptions to ensure accurate billing, cost allocation, and budget alignment Identify budget risks and opportunities; proactively surface issues and recommendations to leadership Partner with the department head, Chief of Staff, and team leaders to develop annual operating plans and rolling forecasts Prepare financial summaries and presentations for senior stakeholders, translating complex data into clear business insights Support month-end close activities in coordination with the finance team Develop and continuously improve financial models, dashboards, and reporting templates Identify areas of improvement and drive changes in working procedures and processes to increase efficiency and accuracy Respond to ad hoc financial analysis requests from business partners with speed and accuracy Required: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field 6-10 years of experience in financial planning & analysis (FP&A) or a related role Strong proficiency in Excel (financial modeling, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH) Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail Ability to communicate financial data clearly to non-finance stakeholders Preferred: Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) Familiarity with headcount and workforce planning Experience in a tech or semiconductor company Sandisk is committed to providing equal opportunities to all applicants and employees and will not discriminate against any applicant or employee based on their race, color, ancestry, religion (including religious dress and grooming standards), sex (including pregnancy, childbirth or related medical conditions, breastfeeding or related medical conditions), gender (including a person's gender identity, gender expression, and gender-related appearance and behavior, whether or not stereotypically associated with the person's assigned sex at birth), age, national origin, sexual orientation, medical condition, marital status (including domestic partnership status), physical disability, mental disability, medical condition, genetic information, protected medical and family care leave, Civil Air Patrol status, military and veteran status, or other legally protected characteristics.
