About the role
We are seeking a driven Sales Operations Manager who will be responsible for driving operational excellence across the sales organization by enabling effective planning, performance tracking, systems management, and cross-functional coordination. - Process & Systems Optimization
- Standardize sales processes across regions (route-to-market, order booking, reporting)
- Manage CRM/SFA tools and ensure high adoption by field teams
- Drive automation and digital initiatives to improve efficiency
- Sales Force Effectiveness
- Optimize territory alignment and coverage models
- Analyze productivity metrics (calls/day, outlets coverage, conversion ratios)
- Support incentive scheme design and tracking
- Trade & Distribution Coordination
- Work closely with distribution teams to ensure execution of sales plans
- Monitor stock availability, pipeline fill, and secondary sales movement
- Identify and address operational bottlenecks in the supply chain
- Cross-Functional Alignment
- Act as a bridge between Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain
- Ensure alignment on demand planning, promotions, and launches
- Support execution of key commercial initiatives
- Data Analytics & Insights
- Analyze sales trends, channel performance, and customer behavior
- Provide recommendations to improve revenue, margin, and efficiency
- Develop periodic business reviews (weekly/monthly)
- Governance & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to company policies and sales protocols
- Maintain data accuracy and reporting discipline across teams
- Support audits and compliance checks where required
- Your profile:
- Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred)
- 5-8 years experience in Sales Operations / Commercial Excellence / Analytics (FMCG/Pharma preferred)
- Strong expertise in Excel, Power BI, or similar tools
- Experience with CRM/SFA systems
- Strong business acumen, analytical thinking & problem-solving skills
