Job Description This job announcement is not an offer of employment. This requisition has been established to collect a robust candidate pool for part-time positions that may become available within the designated discipline at CSN. If a part-time position becomes available within the discipline, the hiring department will review the application materials of the candidates who have applied and will invite select candidates to interview based on their qualifications. Should a candidate be selected for a part-time instructor position, no minimum course load is guaranteed, and teaching assignments, if any, are contingent upon various factors, including but not limited to, minimum student enrollment and/or department need. No reimbursement for travel expenses will be provided to local or out-of-area/out-of-state candidates, and there is no guarantee of continued or future part-time and/or full-time employment. Core Responsibilities Responsibilities include teaching online courses in the Applied Psychology curriculum, drawing from real-world experience. Specifically, teach Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) content to prepare students for a career. Multi-campus teaching may be required to meet departmental needs. Maintain records, submit grades, and communicate with department and college personnel using established college/department protocol. Develop syllabi and course materials in accordance with college policy. Teach the course objectives in accordance with the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB). Evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes. Provide students with syllabi that meet college, department, and program requirements. Effectively evaluate student performance while meeting assessment guidelines. Submit, as necessary, the completed coursework authorization to the BABC board. Communicate with students in a timely manner. Complete Assessment assignments. Required Qualifications Master's degree in good standing and currently active as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst® through the Behavior Analysis Certification Board.
