Responsibilities

  • Security Operations

  • Ensure all security personnel maintain professional standards and comply with licensing requirements.
  • Compliance and Risk Management
  • Ensure compliance with the Private Security Industry Act, company policies, and relevant Singapore regulations.
  • Maintain proper documentation and security records.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and recommend improvements to minimise security vulnerabilities.
  • Support business continuity planning and emergency preparedness exercises.
  • Visitor and Contractor Management
  • Oversee visitor registration and contractor access procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with site security requirements before granting access.
  • Monitor vehicle entry and exit, material movement, and gate operations.
  • Emergency Preparedness
  • Coordinate emergency response during fire, evacuation, medical emergencies, and other critical incidents.
  • Participate in emergency drills and business continuity exercises.
  • Work closely with the Safety, HR, Operations, and Facilities teams to ensure site readiness.
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Review existing security procedures and recommend operational improvements.
  • Assist in implementing new security technologies and systems.
  • Prepare monthly security reports, trend analyses, and management presentations.

Requirements

  • Education
  • Diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • WSQ Advanced Certificate in Security Supervision or equivalent security qualification.
  • Possession of a valid Security Supervisor license issued by the Police Licensing & Regulatory Department (PLRD) is preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of security experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • At least 5 years in a supervisory role.
  • Experience supervising outsourced security personnel is an advantage.
  • Knowledge
  • Strong knowledge of security operations and access control systems.
  • Familiarity with CCTV, electronic security systems, and visitor management systems.
  • Good understanding of emergency response, investigation techniques, and incident management.

Job Summary: The Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all security operations within the manufacturing plant to ensure the safety and security of employees, contractors, visitors, company assets, and facilities. The incumbent will supervise security officers, enforce security policies and procedures, investigate incidents, coordinate emergency responses, and ensure compliance with company policies and Singapore regulatory requirements.
