This role is responsible for expert troubleshooting, repair, and installation of HVAC and refrigeration systems throughout the resort. As a Trades II - HVAC , you will: Perform projects, guest calls, blitzes, and preventive maintenance as directed by resort management Execute daily tasks and assigned projects in HVAC systems, supporting other trades as needed Expertly troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on split units, air handlers, condensers, ice machines, refrigeration equipment for food and beverage, appliances, and exhaust fans Install or replace HVAC components such as compressors, coils, refrigerant line sets, and other key parts Conduct routine inspections for safety, mechanical integrity, and quality assurance as directed by management Read and interpret technical data and O&M manuals Actively participate in procurement and inventory processes to ensure materials and tools are available on-site Effectively operate resort operations devices and software (HotSOS) Communicate professionally through radios, phones, emails, and verbal communications Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks as required by resort leadership Safely use hand tools, power tools, and battery-powered tools for HVAC work Work using ladders, scaffolds, lifts, dust masks, and in confined or narrow spaces Follow safety guidelines and practices Identify and report potential hazards on the property Communicate and interpret guest needs through positive interactions to ensure resolutions Adhere to all CFI/Westgate Resorts policies and procedures Always represent Westgate Resorts professionally through appearance, attire, and behavior Perform other tasks as assigned by resort operations leadership To excel in this role, you must embody our core values of integrity, passion, and a strong work ethic.
