Specialized Experience: For the GS-14 grade level, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes: Experience responding to grantee inquiries, identifying programmatic or compliance gaps, and creating tailored training or technical-assistance packages (e.g., handouts, presentations, sample forms) to address those needs; AND Experience reviewing housing plans and grant applications, reserving and obligating funds, preparing award agreements, conducting risk assessments, and monitoring recipient performance through audits, on-site reviews, and corrective-action tracking; AND Experience conducting analytical studies of housing issues affecting Native Hawaiian communities, evaluating policy effectiveness, developing NOFO related guidance, and preparing reports for senior leadership, Congress, and oversight bodies. The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
