- Deep category expertise in several categories relevant to medical device manufacturing, such as Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA), electronic components, semiconductors, plastic injection moulding, silicone or rubber moulding, tooling, contract manufacturing, and other engineered components.
- Strong understanding of procurement operating models, category strategy design, supplier segmentation, strategic sourcing, negotiations, source-to-pay processes, supplier performance management, and digital procurement.
- Strong practical experience in design-to-value, should-cost modelling, cost breakdown analysis, clean-sheet costing, cost benchmarking, and supplier cost reduction levers.
- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders across procurement, engineering, product development, manufacturing, quality, finance, and supply chain.
- Ability to support procurement operating model and organization design work, including role and responsibility definition, governance design, capability assessment, process redesign, and performance management.
- Proven ability to build client capabilities through coaching, structured problem solving, analytical training, and hands-on support to client team members.
