Working at our Cincinnati Aviation Component Service Center : Our ACSC facility develops and conducts a wide array of engine component repairs - including rotating parts, complex assemblies and nozzles on 29 different engine models. Role Overview: Will perform visual and dimensional inspection duties across all areas of the Service Shop. Perform functional tests on aircraft components, and simple plate layout on incoming materials as necessary. Will verify test setups and perform all types of parts and processes verifications, using necessary inspection techniques and equipment. Will maintain necessary and pertinent records, and perform related duties. Direct or instruct others as required. Required Qualifications: Experience inspecting aircraft hardware. Demonstrate the use of basic precision measuring instruments including micrometers, dial calipers, and dial indicators. Ability to use shop math, including fractions, decimals and ability to learn trigonometry and geometry. Experience working with computers, applications, and keyboarding. Possess analytical aptitude with methodical attention to detail.
