Responsibilities

  • Location: Melbourne/Sydney, Australia (In Office - 3 days/week)
  • Contract Length: 6 months (with option to extend)
  • Reports to: Marketing Director, Commonwealth

  • Plan and execute events, activations, and local experiences across Australia and New Zealand, including trade shows, summits, and partner programs
  • Localize and deploy marketing assets, messaging, and social content for regional audiences
  • Build partnerships with customers, associations, and industry influencers to increase awareness and adoption of Axon
  • Partner with Sales and Government Affairs to support regional growth and relationship-building efforts
  • Track and manage lead capture, event ROI, and post-event follow-up
  • Track and report on event attendance, account engagement, and pipeline impact, including lifted and influenced pipeline generated through marketing activities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure consistency across regional initiatives
  • Support the launch of campaigns and GTM programs tailored to Australia and New Zealand market needs
  • Coordinate PR content, reputation management, media relations, and locally relevant case studies
  • Manage vendor coordination, project timelines, and cross-functional inputs
  • What You Bring
  • 2-4 years of experience in B2B or B2G (government) marketing, field marketing, or events
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field
  • Native-level fluency in English
  • Experience managing external agencies (PR, Digital, CRM, Social Media)
  • Prior experience working with or in U.S.-based companies is a strong plus
  • Highly organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple projects independently
  • Excellent communication skills across teams, cultures, and time zones
  • Self-starter mindset - thrives in ambiguity and takes initiative without daily guidance
  • Passion for purpose-driven work in tech, public safety, or mission-aligned sectors
