Chief Executive Officer

About the role

We are seeking a visionary and operationally rigorous CEO to lead Metavision into its next phase of global expansion and market leadership. You will take ownership of a pioneering platform at the intersection of culture, technology, and entertainment. Your mandate: scale our immersive expedition model, deepen strategic partnerships, expand into new Asian territories, and solidify Metavision as the definitive bridge between global content creators and Asian audiences.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership & Vision
• Define and execute the company's 3-5 year strategic roadmap, balancing growth, profitability, and brand prestige.
• Identify and evaluate new markets across Asia for immersive entertainment centres, adapting global IPs for local cultural nuances.
• Lead fundraising, investor relations, and capital allocation to support expansion and technology upgrades.
• Business Development & Partnerships
• Cultivate and negotiate high-value partnerships with top-tier global cultural institutions
• Drive the deal flow for new immersive expeditions, from concept to venue launch.
• Strengthen relationships with venue partners, real estate developers, and technology co-producers
• Operational & Financial Management
• Oversee P&L, budgeting, and financial performance across Singapore and China operations.
• Ensure flawless execution of simultaneous immersive experiences across multiple venues.
• Lead a lean, high-performing team of professionals, fostering a culture of creativity, execution, and cross-border collaboration.
• Brand & Market Positioning
• Serve as the public face of Metavision, speaking at industry events and engaging with media, investors, and cultural partners.
• Drive marketing strategy to maximise attendance, repeat visitation, and B2B opportunities.
• Champion the company's mission: "Feeling the history, crossing the future."
• Candidate Profile
• Experience & Track Record
• Proven CEO, Managing Director, or GM experience in a growth-stage entertainment, media, technology, or live events company.
• Demonstrated success in Asia-Pacific markets, particularly Greater China and Southeast Asia. Deep understanding of local consumer behaviour, regulatory landscapes, and partnership dynamics.
• Track record of securing and executing complex IP or contentpartnerships*with global brands or cultural institutions.
• Experience managing P&L for a multi-location,venue-based business is highly desirable.
