Responsibilities

  • Electrical Systems Leadership
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for electrical infrastructure, including low- and medium-voltage (LV/MV) distribution, lighting, generators, and UPS systems.

  • Reliability & Maintenance Programs

  • Project Execution
  • Lead or support electrical scopes of work for capital projects of varying complexity, including advanced manufacturing environments, cleanrooms, and high-tech facilities.
  • Review and approve contractor deliverables, submittals, RFIs, and ensure quality execution in the field.
  • Engineering Design & Analysis
  • Prepare and review electrical design documentation, including:
  • Single-line diagrams
  • Load calculations
  • Panel schedules
  • Lighting layouts
  • Short-circuit, coordination, and arc flash studies
  • Ensure all designs meet applicable codes, standards, and safety requirements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with architectural, mechanical, and structural teams to deliver integrated, code-compliant facility designs.
  • Collaborate with field electricians and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues.
  • Technical Skills & Expertise
  • Strong knowledge of building electrical systems design and operations, including LV/MV distribution, lighting, and emergency power systems
  • Experience with power system analysis tools (e.g., EasyPower) for short-circuit, coordination, and load flow studies
  • Deep understanding of applicable codes and standards, including NFPA 70/70E, IEEE, IEC , and local regulations
  • Experience supporting construction administration, including submittal review, RFIs, and field inspections
  • Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (required); advanced degree preferred
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in facilities or infrastructure electrical engineering
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects and supporting critical operations

  • The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $86,400 to $118,800. Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location , experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.
