Responsibilities

  • Network Administration
  • Performs advanced monitoring and troubleshooting of routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers.

  • Updates network configuration records, diagrams, and device inventories.
  • Ensures compliance with credential separation and access control policies.
  • Knowledge Transfer
  • Creates runbooks and how‑to guides for Level 1 analysts.
  • Provides training on network triage procedures.
  • You will be successful in this role if you have:
  • Key Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree and 2-4 years of relevant experience OR equivalent combination.
  • Strong experience with network troubleshooting and monitoring tools.
  • Ability to support 24×7 operations and rotating shifts.
  • U.S. Citizenship and U.S. residency required.
  • Shift timings:
  • Shift 1: Monday - Friday 7am - 4pm EST
  • Shift 2: Monday - Friday 3pm - 12am EST
  • Shift 3: Monday - Friday 11pm - 8am EST
  • Weekend Shift 1: Saturday & Sunday - 7am - 8pm EST
  • Weekend Shift 2: Saturday & Sunday - 7pm - 8am EST
  • Weekend shifts will also include 16 additional hours during the week.

What success looks like in this role: Position Summary The Level 2 Network Administrator provides advanced network monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident remediation in a 24×7 NOC environment. This role handles escalations from Level 1, performs deeper network diagnostics, and ensures reliability of network infrastructure across multiple locations. This position supports the Cyber Backup environment and works under the guidance of the Level 3 Network Lead.
