Project Buyer (sourcing)

Responsibilities

• Sourcing & Supplier Management
• Develop and manage a robust supplier base across Asia and/or global markets.
• Conduct supplier assessments, negotiate contracts, and drive cost-down initiatives.
• Identify and qualify alternative suppliers to mitigate supply chain risks.
• Monitor supplier On-Time Delivery (OTD) and quality performance with structured corrective action plans.
• Procurement Operations
• Execute end-to-end purchasing activities including RFQ, PO issuance, Call-Offs, and contract implementation (NDA, GPC).
• Verify invoices against POs and manage price deviation resolution.
• Maintain accurate SCM parameters in SAP/R3 (vendor master, contracts, IQC, warehouse data).
• Cross-functional Collaboration
• Partner with Engineering, R&D, Production Planning, Quality, and Finance to align procurement with project timelines and production demands.
• Support CIP/CSR fast-lane ordering and coordinate with local planning teams for seamless material flow.
