Technical Manager/Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of design engineers in the development of semiconductor equipment, from module design to full machine conceptualization
• Drive product innovation and continuous improvement (CIP) to enhance performance, extend product lifecycle, and improve cost competitiveness
• Oversee machine reliability, feasibility testing, and validation to ensure high precision and performance
• Partner with Technical Sales on specification review, costing, and solution evaluation
• Own and resolve technical issues across the product line, including field-related challenges
• Ensure machine performance at customer sites, including troubleshooting and optimization
• Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving using structured methodologies (e.g., 8D, Ishikawa, DIVE)
• Job Requirement:
• Degree or Master's in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• Strong experience in automation equipment design, preferably in semiconductor industry (sorter machines highly preferred)
• Solid background in high precision, high-speed mechanical systems
• Proficient in CAD tools such as Creo or SolidWorks
• Knowledge of semiconductor packaging and assembly processes
• Proven experience in a technical leadership role, managing teams and projects
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with structured methodologies
