Position Summary The Sales Representative - Federal Pool Management is responsible for developing new business opportunities and expanding relationships within federal government agencies, military installations, and other government-operated aquatic facilities. Key Responsibilities - Identify, pursue, and secure sales opportunities with federal agencies, military bases, recreation departments, Morale, Welfare, and Recreation programs, and other government aquatic operations. - Build and maintain strong relationships with contracting officers, program managers, aquatics directors, facility managers, and other decision makers involved in pool management and lifeguard service procurement. - Use existing federal government knowledge, relationships, and access strategies to open doors and reach the appropriate decision makers. - Present pool management, certified pool operator support, lifeguard staffing, aquatic safety, maintenance, training, and compliance solutions tailored to federal facility needs. - Monitor federal procurement portals, agency opportunities, expiring contracts, and upcoming solicitations related to aquatics, pool operations, recreation services, and lifeguard management. - Collaborate with operations, estimating, and leadership teams to develop proposals, pricing strategies, capability statements, and responses to requests for information or proposals. - Maintain an organized pipeline of prospects, opportunities, contacts, follow-ups, and contract targets. - Represent the company professionally at government meetings, site visits, industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities. - Stay informed on federal procurement requirements, safety standards, pool operations expectations, lifeguard service requirements, and aquatics industry best practices. Required Qualifications - Proven sales, business development, account management, or client relationship experience, preferably in a federal government, recreation, facilities, or aquatics-related environment, or a strong desire to learn these skills. - Familiarity with lifeguard services, lifeguard staffing models, aquatic safety programs, pool operations, and facility management requirements. - Experience working for or with the federal government in an aquatics, recreation, facilities, safety, or related operational position. - Demonstrated ability to identify and reach federal decision makers, understand agency structures, and navigate government procurement environments. - Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present services, write professional correspondence, and support proposal development. - Ability to travel as needed for client meetings, site visits, conferences, and business development activities. - Proficiency with customer relationship management systems, Microsoft Office applications, and pipeline tracking tools.
