About the role

We are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to strengthen our Kraft Heinz family. The Quality Engineer position is within our Operations department. The location of the position is Susurluk/Balıkesir. In this position, you will oversee FSQ System Management, supervise and develop FSQ System procedures at the KHC plants in accordance with policy, strategy, and certification requirements. This critical role ensures compliance with KHC standards, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements while championing a culture of food safety and quality across the site. Quality Engineer works closely with cross-functional teams from other departments enhance operational performance, product quality, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

  • Leading quality activities in accordance with established product specifications and customer requirements
  • Implement, maintain, and improve food safety systems, including HACCP, GMPs, environmental monitoring, and sanitation programs
  • Ensure the plant is always compliant with regulatory standards and prepared for customer and certification audits.
  • Foster team development, identify training needs, and promote a food safety-first culture across the organization
  • Track and analyze FSQ performance metrics, driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance compliance and reduce complaints
  • Ensuring the right production at the first time in accordance with the production plan and supporting the team
  • Ensuring that records are kept, checked, maintained and informed of any non-conformances to the FSQ Manager,
  • Maintaining control and quality controls in accordance with quality plans
  • To follow the cleaning and sanitation plans and ensure that the plans are implemented in accordance with Kraft Heinz and GMP requirements in the relevant areas
  • To follow up and take action on consumer/customer complaints,
  • Participating in, leading and maintaining quality improvement projects, productivity projects
  • Preparation of QC reports on customer requirements

Requirements

  • Food Engineering graduate,
  • At least 1 years of work experience for quality control management in production facilities
  • Previous work experience in an FMCG environment
  • Have a good level of English
  • Residing around Balıkesir
  • Proficient in MS Office, SAP programs
  • Prone to teamwork
  • Open to cooperation, we are looking for candidates with strong communication skills
