Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Electrical Field Engineer to support an HVDC / Grid Solutions project. The engineer will be site-based and act as the key technical interface between construction, commissioning, engineering teams, contractors, and clients. The role focuses on supporting installation, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities related to S2 work packages, ensuring technical issues are resolved effectively and properly documented. Key Focus - Special focus for S2 work package - Focus on all issues related to the installation/Erection of the equipment activities and interfaces/coordination within packages/systems, and with related activities in the scope of Partner & Contractor. - Ensure a daily monitoring in direct contact with the site teams and the partner(s) & Contractors in his field of activity. - Provide close support and follow up to the engineering department by proposing documented solutions, and could as well update or prepare, as appropriate, SMFs under the supervision of the assigned engineering office. Other actions - Support to the Site Manager during technical meetings involving the client, partners, and subcontractors. - Collaboration with the Quality and Document Control teams - Ensures strict adherence to the change management process and the proper maintenance of "As-Built" (marked-up) documentation. - Participates in technical and coordination meetings related to his engineering activity(ies), as well as those concerning general site operations and mandatory training sessions. - Ensures that the GFC/SQ/SMF/Red Lines processes are used correctly - Participates when required to GFC/SQ/SMF/RMU meetings with Site/engineering teams - Supports all EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) initiatives and ensures that all solutions to be implemented comply with applicable safety regulations
