Responsibilities

  • Field Service & Technical Support (50%)
  • Perform calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of hydraulic/electro-hydraulic governors, actuators, and control systems
  • Service and maintain flow meters, gas analyzers, and related instrumentation
  • Conduct routine preventive maintenance and emergency field service calls as required

  • Coordinate parts ordering, inventory management, and logistics for the service department
  • Prepare technical proposals, service quotes, and project documentation
  • Assist with customer communications, scheduling, and follow-up for service activities
  • Update and maintain technical libraries, manuals, and software for equipment
  • Support the development of maintenance procedures and technical bulletins

Requirements

  • ITE Higher NITEC certification, Diploma, Degree in Instrumentation Technology, Electronics, or related field, OR equivalent military/technical training
  • Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on experience. Experience with governors and/or instrumentation a plus
  • Strong understanding of calibration principles and documentation requirements
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Office Suite, database management, technical documentation software)
  • Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a technical support team
  • Work Environment
  • Split between office environment (technical support, documentation) and field service work
  • Field work may involve travel (25-40%) to customer industrial sites
  • Office work requires extended periods at a computer workstation
