JOB MISSION: As an Associate Product Manager, you will support Tennis category in their execution of creating product assortments. You will work with cross-functional teams to assist in successfully developing, designing, managing, merchandising, and driving product assortments that meets business plans needs and long-term brand vision. MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES: Assist in the category strategy and execute a business plan to support category growth, while taking into account manufacturing, cost, and market requirements. Participate in conducting ongoing market and trend research to gain a full understanding of the needs of the target consumer in the category in order build a superior product line. You will continually evaluate competitors' businesses and the marketplace to capitalize on potential opportunities. Lead gathering of consumer and athlete insights. Provide feedback and suggestions to cross-functional global teams based on market data and consumer insights. Prepare reports as required by Senior Product Manager and Product Manager to include sales & selling data, category performance, margin and market/consumer analysis. Contribute to creating detailed product line plans and marketing briefs for each season. Communicate goals, expectations, and responsibilities surrounding the product to the appropriate teams and to management. Perform data entry into product line management system. Prepare, support and deliver presentations to internal teams and external customers. Ensure data-entry integrity and maintenance of product accuracy in NB systems. Oversee sample management and organization of shipping product to internal and external partners. REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS: Bachelor's degree with 3 years of experience in product management or retail within the apparel industry. Superior verbal and written communication skills. Strong presentation skills. Solid product and industry knowledge Solid knowledge of Microsoft office skills. Detail-oriented and highly organized.
