Posted Job Title Research Specialist A/B Job Profile Title Research Specialist A Job Description Summary A laboratory in Department of Cancer Biology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania is seeking a motivated, skilled, and organized research specialist. The lab investigates the molecular and cellular basis of diseases, especially cancer and neurodegeneration. The Research Specialist A will (1) Participate in research projects using a range of techniques including molecular biology, biochemistry, and cell culture techniques, as well as animal models; (2) Function as lab manager and assist PI in overseeing the operation of the lab, (3) Write animal protocols, manage animal colonies, and train students and other scientists for animal-related work, (4) Assist PI, graduate students, and postdoctoral fellows with experimental procedures and analysis.
