About the role
Provide planning, coordination, systems governance, and analytical oversight for warehouse and inventory operations across the region. Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain system-level inventory accuracy across warehouses (SAP/WMS), ensuring alignment between planning data and operational outputs
- Identify, analyze, and escalate inventory discrepancies, master data issues, and process gaps
- Develop and maintain inventory governance standards, controls, and reporting frameworks
- Partner with warehouse supervision to ensure adherence to inventory control policies
- Execute MRP monitoring, exception management, and shortage identification
- Coordinate with Procurement and Operations to proactively mitigate material risks and stockouts
- Establish and maintain optimal inventory parameters (min/max, safety stock strategies, reorder points)
- Support long-term demand forecasting and inventory optimization initiatives
- Interface with suppliers and logistics providers to monitor delivery performance, lead times, and issue resolution
- Coordinate escalations related to late deliveries, incorrect documentation, or supply risk
- Track inbound/outbound logistics status and readiness, ensuring alignment with operational priorities
- Act as the site lead for WMS/SAP enhancements, deployment, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop and maintain inventory and warehouse performance dashboards and KPIs
- Drive adoption of digital tools related to material tracking, visibility, and reporting
- Support system testing, user acceptance, and training coordination (non-operational)
- Lead structured investigation and resolution of systemic inventory and material flow issues
- Analyze trends in discrepancies, delays, and errors to identify root causes and corrective actions
- Facilitate cross-functional alignment to improve end-to-end material flow processes
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives across warehousing and materials management
- Serve as the primary interface between Warehouse Operations, Procurement, Logistics, and Field Operations
- Coordinate planning activities for turnarounds, projects, and critical material readiness
- Support network-level initiatives such as inventory redeployment, slow-moving/obsolete analysis, and asset recovery
- Provide coordination and analytical support for multi-site inventory initiatives and projects
- Support planning and reporting for offsite inventory activities, audits, or special projects

Requirements
- 6+ years' experience in materials management, inventory planning, or supply chain coordination
- Post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field
- A combination of education and experience may be considered
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Advanced proficiency in SAP (MM) / WMS systems and Excel-based analysis
- Experience with inventory planning, MRP, and supply chain coordination
- Knowledge of warehouse operations (process understanding, not execution)
- Strong communication skills to manage cross-functional stakeholders
- Experience in oil & gas / industrial supply chain environments considered an asset
- Ability to interpret data and translate into actionable insights and process improvements
- This position requires candidates to:
- Have current, valid authorization to travel internationally (including but not limited to Canada, US and Mexico)
- Successfully complete pre-employment medical screening including drug and alcohol testing
- Have and maintain a valid driver's license and provide a driver's abstract (record) for review
- Travel to other company locations for temporary assignments, meetings or training
