Reporting to the Senior Supervisor, Local Scale Planning, the Senior Lead, Adaptive Management is a leadership role that requires strategic thinking, management of complex environmental programs, and maintenance of essential relationships with various stakeholders. Salary: 115,600 CAD /year The actual base salary offered is determined based on the successful candidate's relevant experience, skills, and competencies and considers internal equity. Requirements
- Degree in Science, Planning, Engineering, in environment, biology, chemical, process, civil, geology, or other related field
- Minimum seven years' experience, preferably in the mining or resource industries
- Demonstrated ability in adaptive management, risk management and/or multidiscipline strategy development, and project/program management
- Proven ability to manage projects and strategic decision-making processes
- Demonstrated ability to lead environmental management in the mining industry, with experience with water quality management would be an asset
- Knowledge of relevant federal and provincial legislation, standards, and effective industry practices
- Experience supervising consultants and contractors
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License or equivalent
