Responsibilities

  • Perform internal audits to assess compliance with industry standards and provide ongoing objective evaluations of processes and documentation in accordance with AS9100 and internal command media
  • Perform special process (NDT, Heat Treat, etc.) audits as required

  • Significant domestic travel is expected in this position (Up to 50%)

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or 6+ years shown experience in QMS / Internal Auditing
  • 6+ years of AS9100 or ISO9001 auditing experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Able to identify problems, perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
  • Outstanding listening, communication, and presentation skills
  • Experience with special process oversight is a must
  • Desired:
  • Certified as AS9100D / ISO9001 / APQP Lead Auditor
  • Experience with external audit, supporting USG Compliance
  • Aerospace, space launch, or military or commercial aviation preferred
  • American Society of Quality, Certified Quality Engineer certification
  • Quality experience in either development or production environment
  • Six Sigma Green, Black Belt, or comparable certification
