Requirements
- 2 or 4-year degree in mechanical engineering or mechanical engineering technology preferred, HVAC construction experience with a drafting certification will be considered as well.
- Past internship, co-op, or work experience in a consulting engineering role is a plus.
- Experience working in the construction industry is a plus.
- Experience using Revit in either an educational or professional context is a plus.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) is a plus.

The mechanical design scope will be a part of a broader project and therefore this candidate will learn to interface with design leads within SMC (electrical, telecommunications, fire protection, plumbing) as well as externally including architectural, civil, structural, etc. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, is eager to learn, and wants to grow their expertise and career at as rapid a pace as suits them.
